#HackUNL A 24-hour hackathon event where students come together to address online harassment and cyberbullying.
Friday, April 14th
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: #HackUNL Opening Ceremony
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm: #HackUNL Mixer (Food and drinks will be provided; Participants will meet and make teams;
Saturday, April 15th
8:00 am (4/15) - 8:00 am (4/16): 24-hr hackathon in the Pixel Lab (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner will be provided;
Sunday, April 16th
11:00 am - 4:30 pm (Union Auditorium reserved for Presentations, Judging, Awards and Closing Ceremony)
Requirements
NOTE: All submissions must address online harassment
Notes:
- All submissions are due at 10:00 AM. We suggest you submit earlier to ensure you get something submitted before the deadline. You will have access to edit your submission until 10:00 AM. You project can not be judged if there is no submission on Devpost.
- All prizes are opt-in. It is your responsibility to opt-in to the prizes you would like to be considered for
Process:
- Go to Devpost.com and register for an account
- Go to hackunl.devpost.com and register for #HackUNL
- Start the submission process by pressing the submit button, and add a project
- Enter project name, elevator pitch, what your program is built with (languages or API’s if applicable), and team members)
- Answer what is requested from “The Whole Story.” (Required)
- “Try it out” – Enter URL, Appstore, GitHub Repo, etc… (Optional)
- Project Image (Optional)
- Video Demo (Optional)
- Step 2:
- If your project needs further explanation or description you may upload one file with the appropriate explanations.
- All prizes are opt-in. Choose all prizes you are eligible for.
- You are likely eligible for all prizes, opt-in for all the prizes.
- If you opt-in for best domain.com domain, specify your domain in the attached file.
- Exception: If you did not create a free domain from domain.com, you are not eligible for that one. If you did not play the V.R. Goat game, you are not eligible for that prize.
- Enter all the schools represented on your team.
- Select any MLH Hardware you used for your project.
- You are likely eligible for all prizes, opt-in for all the prizes.

This project displays a great understanding of online harassment as a social issue and supplements a well thought-out solution. -
